Keynote Exports Huge Dimension Size PDFs

Exporting a 16:9 Keynote presentation to PDF and it converts it to a 26.67 x 15 inch document.

How can I either get Keynote to export a pdf with smaller dimensions, or how do i reduce it in Acrobat?

Thanks

Hi, I am not trying to print, i just want a managable size to my pitch deck. @ 25 x 15 its huge, and i wanted to shrink down to something I can email to people and actually let them print to 8.5 x 11 if they want to. So your way only will work for printing it, not for saving it. Acrobat won't Save as a PDF if its a PDF.

I saw on the Adobe Acrobat forum for creating PDFs someone said to open in Preview, then Print. I selected horizontal view and Scale & it was already set for that for US Letter. If you adjust Paper size, it will give you the exact scale for your intended page size.

Then I clicked the PDF drop down in lower left, and chose Save As PDF and it created a new 11x8.5 document that has not visible loss of clarity. Problem solved with Preview!!!

Regarding your other way, I don't want to change the document size.

What is it you are trying to do when you want a smaller PDF file in inches?

Two suggestions:

1. In Acrobat Reader, in the Print dialogue box, set paper sizing to: Fit and the scale factor will change appropriately for the paper size you are printing to

2 You can specify the resolution by setting the Slide Size to a specific pixel resolution in Inspector > Document > Slide Size: in the drop down menu select Custom Slide Size and enter the pixel resolution you want.

A slide size of 1920 x 1200 pixels will export to 1920 x 1200 pixel PDF file.
