My iTunes cannot detect my iPhone, but other computer’s iTunes can detect my iPhone.

My iPhone Charges but the iPhone icon doesn’t appear in iTunes so I can’t sync my files

I updated my phone, updates iTunes, updated my mac, tried various Apple cables to connect it, tried different usb input, hit “Trust this computer,” powered on and off my phone and mac.

When I plug it into different computers the iPhone symbol appears

I don’t want to delete iTunes because i’m afraid my music files will delete (I am a DJ so it’s important that don’t ruin my iTunes library.)

I connected an old iPod touch and it recognizes it (icon shows and it’s able to sync)

I don’t know why this isn’t working with my iPhone?

Phone: iPhone 8 Plus (undamaged)

Computer Name:  MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)

Processor Type: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7

Amount of RAM: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Please help, thank you!!!

In Finder use the menu item Go > Go to Folder..., copy the following text, paste it into the dialog box and press enter:

/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MobileDevice.framework/Versions/Current/Resources

Unlock your device and connect it to USB. Double click on MobileDeviceUpdater in the folder that has opened. It should notify you of a software update. Install it and iTunes should hopefully recognize your device.
