Live Photo icon has disappeared

I have an iPhone 6s and are used to be able to take Live Photos. I had turned the feature off but I suddenly realized today that I no longer have the option to turn it on when I open the camera app.

I made sure it’s on “Photo”, I have restarted my phone, I’ve updated to the latest operating system, and even reset my phone settings (I wish I hadn’t done that!) but it’s still gone!
