Screen recording doesn’t work

I can’t screen record. It’s enabled on my control center.

i also have no restrictions tab under my general settings

iPhone X

Using iOS 12 or later, restrictions have been moved to Settings>Screen Time>Content & Privacy Restrictions. Check there.

What happens when you try to record your screen? Are you getting an error message?

Try explaining what happens when you try to screen record. Do you see an error? What exactly are you trying to screen record?

I got it to work by changing the restriction. Just couldn’t find it. Thank you!!

How did you get it to work? I reset everything to factory defaults. I have no restrictions enabled and it still doesn’t work. Apple Support couldn’t figure it out either when I contacted them.
