Airplay with Amazon Prime (yet again)

Here’s what I’ve been doing. Download Amazon videos to my iPad at work (way faster). At home, using my Apple TV and iPad, (mirroring), I watch the videos on my TV. This saves my data which is expensive out in the middle of nowhere where I live. No cable, just an ugly internet dish in the backyard.

Spent good time with Apple support today and Airplay on my IPad Pro (running 12.1.1) works just fine. Until two weeks ago it also worked great with Amazon Prime videos- the process explained above. Last week it stopped working and this is the message that pops up: “This download is unavailable to play through Airplay. Do you want to stream it using your device’s internet connection?”

Also spent time on the phone with Amazon support and they say that the videos should work with Airplay. Any ideas? I watched the first few episodes of Orphan Black using Airplay, so I know it worked. Can’t watch any more, and I did try downloading other videos, but none work.
