I use Mail and have the emails in threads, so replies to X are all in a batch = some replies are silly to save [i.e., undeliverable etc] but whenever I have tried to delete just one of the replies the whole thread disappears. I want to keep the parts of the thread I want and delete the parts I don't. Ideas?
There's an option in Mail's View menu.
No I suppose I could, I was hoping it was something simple like highlight/select the one message you want to delete and use a key stroke thing == I tried Option and that didn't work.
Plus that would mean going into Preferences each time to do it == and then turning it on again =
Short of a simple keystroke as I go along looking at messages, this appears to be the only way to do it, easily. Thanks much = unfortunately I only figure out I need to delete a reply occasionally but this does make it a bit easier = thanks much.
Have you tried turning off view as Conversations then deleting the one you don't want then turning it back on?
