Apple Watch 4 not showing Apple Pay nor Credit card

I just got a new Apple Watch and when I try to pay with it my credit card isn’t showing up. My old Apple Watch still has the credit card on it but nothing on my new watch. When I have gone into the wallet through the Apple Watch app, the wallet just asks me to either “Mirror my iPhone” or “Custom” and neither gives me an option to “add a credit card”. I’ve restarted both my iPhone and watch and even deleted the card on my iPhone and readded it and nothing has changed.

Hello BostonBuddy,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand you're unable to add a card to your new Apple Watch.

You should be able to set up your card using the steps from the "Add a card on your Apple Watch" section of this link. Were these the exact steps you tried? Set up Apple Pay. To add a card for use on your Apple Watch, you'd open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Then, tap the My Watch tab, followed by the Wallet & Apple Pay option. This is where you should see the "Add Card" option. Check out the link above for the details!

This does not work. Both my iPhone (Xs) and Apple water (4) are up to date with the software however, when I fo to the Wallet app the “Add Card” option does not appear. All that is there is “Mirror my iPhone” and “Custom” I am never given the option to “add a card” and I’ve clicked on every app that is on my watch.

Didn’t help. I have a card in my wallet on my phone. It won’t sync the card to my watch. It sync s other things in my wallet but it won’t show the credit card on my Apple Watch. It worked on my older Apple Watch but not my series 4 version
