Can't redownload iMovie.

I recently deleted iMovie off my laptop due to an importing issue, and when I go to redownload the app, I see thisI've looked through my applications folder in finder and the app was definitely removed, so i'm wondering if there other folders or hidden files i'm missing that could cause the app store to still believe it's on my computer. Or is there any way I can "refresh" the app store so that it recognizes that the app is no longer on my computer. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this issue?

The procedure is to go to the online app store, sign in with your Apple ID and password, click on your ID in the lower left of your screen. You want to get to your purchased folder where you should see iMovie listed with an Update or Download button. Is that what you are doing?

What happens when you click the Update button in the upper right of your screen shot? I suspect that it will update to current version iMovie 10.1.10 if you are running High Sierra or later.
