No FaceTime no

An iPhone originating from the United Arab Emirates won't have FaceTime outside the Middle East, or some countries within the region. To check if yours falls into this category, choose Settings, General, and About, find a code along the lines of M####LL/A, and see if the letters before the slash are AB, AE, or UR.

If you're inside the region, try inserting a local SIM card.
