Whenever I try to add a new app to my iPad or phone a verification code is being sent to a phone number I had when I originally set up my first iPhone about 10 years ago and which I no longer have. I have changed the number on my settings but it still wants to send it to it... meaning I am unable to download any apps ...help!

If you have your AppleID linked to PayPal to pay for your app purchases, check your PayPal account and make sure you have your most recent phone number in your PayPal profile.
