I just bought the new Iphone xr and feel so excited, but still i have a problem.
The weather app is not working - it is not animated. For example, if its snowing the snowflakes are not shown.
How can i fix the problem?

Guys, my brother in law had the issue and we tried everything said here in the discussions.
The thing was simple. If you use your screen in an amplified resolution, so fonts look bigger, it will cause the animation to stop for some reason.
That's how I found out about his weather app animation not working. It seems it only works with the apple recommended resolution.

Make sure that reduce motion option is off.
Did you try to restart your iPhone?
Yes,sure. And even deleted the app and reinstalled

The above solution worked!! Changed the display from zoom to standard.
I have the same issue. I’ve researched on the web and it seems like a known issue. Hopefully Apple releases a fix for the bug.
