Disappearing contacts

So I just got a new iPhone. I backed up my old phone to iTunes and restored from backup to my new phone. As soon as the phone is done restoring from backup, I have all my contacts and then a few minutes later, 200 of them disappear like they were never there. How do I fix this? I can’t afford to keep restoring every 5 minutes nor can I lose 200+ contacts

when you go to settings>contacts>default account?

I found my problem. It had to do with my outlook account. I exported all those contacts and I'm about to import them to iCloud. Hope it works.
