Icloud scam - call from someone claiming to be from Apple Support

Yesterday, 01/08/2019, I received a call from: (800)694-**** and heard an automated message, advising me to press 1 to be connected to an Apple Support agent to resolve the issue of my iCloud account being hacked by Russia and China. I pressed 1 and was connected with a guy with a strange accent telling me to open safari on my mac and download some software, I did attempt to do so - A file named: GoTo Opener.dmg to my mac. Thankfully the app would not open/launch and I became suspicious and hung up on him. Then deleted the GoTo Opener.dmg file. I received 2 more calls from that number, but did not answer, the call went to my voice mail - with the same message as before and advising me to call back at this number: 518-312-****. I have since blocked the 800 number from calling me back. A friend also received a similar phone call. Be warned!!!!
