PDF protected by password, but I didn't create one! I have PDF's that I've opened and edited before, but now some (not all) are password protected so I can't delete or add pages, etc. I am using MacOS 11.6.2, Preview application. I have never put a password on any of them.

Just check the "encrypt" option at the Save dialog window.

Choose "Export…" click the Encrypt box.
