Unable to Drag & Drop in Safari on iphone
When using certain java pages where it is required to drag and drop an item, it becomes almost impossible as safari wants to scroll or zoom the webpage at the same time.

It isnt a complete soloution but if you select the item you want to drag with one index finger, then using your other index finger you can manipulate the scroll bars on the side or bottom of the screen to counter the drag effect. Will get you there but not ideal for continual operation.
