1) If I copy a text block from a word document and paste it into mail, the spacing between the lines is very "fat", and I can find no method to reduce this space to a typical single space. Since I cannot find any menu to adjust the spacing in Mail, I tried copying and applying style from a 'normally' spaced piece of text composed directly in the Mail program. Doesn't fix the problem....
I reposted the question as the last thread was dead. I found the solution to this frustrating issue. Simple copy the signature from MS Word and paste to a blank document in Pages. Then, copy from Pages and paste to your signature. All the formatting will carry forward.
You always have the option to use Paste and Match Style from the Edit for whatever that may be worth. Just in case you're not already aware of that.
