Missing content from iTunes. I have thousands invested into ITunes. Why are movies missing and when I try to play them on other devises, it tells me they are no longer available

You can see Content types available for Redownload in your Home Country at https://support.apple.com/HT204632. Content may not be available for Redownload if that Content is no longer offered on our Services." Always download everything and keep multiple backup copies on local storage.
I just checked online and it does appear in the iTunes Store.

I purchased The Hobbit the battle of five armies. It is no longer displaying on my Apple TV and my app says it is “no longer available” when I try to play it from my phone. What’s the solution to keep my content
