“This item no longer available” error message

I just activated a new iPhone 8, upgrading from a 7 and “item is no longer available” message keeps popping up. I don’t know what it is reference to? I’ve tried several things to resolve, with no luck. Help!

MacBook Air (2018 or later)

Hey there!

This message refers to apps which are trying to download on your iPhone but are no longer available on the App Store.

In some cases, these apps may actually no longer be available and you may not be able to download them. I have heard of others encountering a similar issue and they simply logged out of iTunes in iOS Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Tap Apple ID>Tap Sign Out. Then sign back in and the issue should be fixed.
