how do I name my voice memos? No place to do it after recording

There are multiple ways to edit the names after recording.

Way 1: Tap and hold on the title of the voice memo you wish to change.

Way 2: Tap on the voice memo you wish to change > tap the more actions button (...) > edit recording > select the title.

Way 3: Pull the voice memo you want to rename to the left > tap the more actions option (...) > edit recording > select the title.

Has it named itself? Location based Name?

Go to Settings > Voice Memo > Location Based naming - Put it OFF

Mine are named automatically with the location and, if there are multiple in the same location, a name after them. The time and date is also listed below the title.

But, AJ937's instructions work. What is it about the instructions that don't work for you?
