How do you type the degree symbol?
On the older it should be alt-0 (zero) but it will not work on mid 2012 macbook pro...(os Mojave)

Try shift-alt -8 - °. Strictly speaking alt-sero isn't a degree symbol but is used in some romance languages to mean a part (such as 2º part = 2nd part). Note the difference - 2º 2° (the latter is degrees).

alt-k isn't strictly speaking degrees - it's described as 'ring above' though I couldn't place it over a letter, which is what the name suggests. It's rather smaller than the degree sign - 2˚ 2° - the latter is strictly correct and indeed looks better. All this may be different on the OP's Norwegian keyboard - Scandinavian languages don't have the same layout, neither Swedes nor-Wegians.
use 'option,0. Like this 65º
Hmmmm... Did not work! This is Norwegian keyboard. Is there another way to do it?
Try shift-alt-Q.
alt-k works. It's not exactly the same symbol but works and i use it.
That one worked! Thank you!
alt-k will be like this: ª
Wowº Thanks°
ah okay. I looked past the fact that OP has a non-US keyboard layout.
