Bluetooth Headphones too loud at lowest level

With my third party bluetooth headphones and bluetooth adapters I did notice that the minimum volume level that I can set is still way louder (too loud) than what I can set in contrast to wire connected headphones on the same device. This goes for my iPhone XS as well as my iPad, there is no difference. While connecting the same bluetooth headsets to an Android phone, I can listen to music at a much lover volume without a problem. I did try several ways to get this solved, like setting max. volume restriction or equalizer, nothing helps. I figure there is a different bluetooth implementation in iOS, would be great if Apple could fix this.

Thanks for the post in Apple Support Communities. I see you have a concern about the volume level when using Bluetooth headsets with your iOS devices.

It sounds like you've checked a few settings, including Settings > Music > Volume Limit. Do you know if these Bluetooth headsets have their own volume controls built-in? Some may have device-level controls that might need adjusting.

If you've double-checked the Volume Limit setting and there are no device controls for your headsets, you can always send your feedback directly to Apple here: Product Feedback.

Hi Sarah,

thank you for your reply. Yes I did check all possible settings. One headset has volume control buttons, but by pushing them the iPhone volume icons appear on the phone, so I can only change the volume of the phone. The other adapter doesn’t come with any controls for the volume.

I will use the link you mentioned and write a feedback there too.
