After applying a FCPX Installed Video Effect to a clip is there any way when later reviewing a project and selecting that clip to see the actual name of the Effect that was applied?

The name appears in the Video inspector.

I must be missing something
I applied the installed Color Preset Effect called "Cold CCD"
When I look in the Video Inspector I see "Color Board 1"
Nowhere have I been able to find the specific name (I know what it is based on my editing notes only)

Mine works the same as yours.
The Color Presets all indicate Color Board 1 in the Inspector for that whole section.
As Tom indicates, the names of the other Effects appear in the Inspector with the "Real Name" of the effect.
Use FCP X feedback and ask for feature request.

I will stop looking for the Color Presets Effect's real names
I did see a real name in the Inspector where I had applied "Black & White" to a clip so that seems to be as expected
