how can I remove NWJS?

My MB Pro running Mojave has recently slowed to a crawl, and I've just found something called nwjs, which looks as if it might be the cause. How can I remove it?

You can run Etrecheck again and follow the instructions to remove the adware.

You also have some old stuff that is not compatible and some of it probably you do not use.

Your battery is not in good shape, but I suppose you already knew that.

You should do a full backup of your drive.

If you plan to keep this machine, consider putting an SSD on it.

At home I still have two machines, from 2010 and 2011, used daily. They both had the original HD replaced by an SSD.

It is like night and day. An old mac can seem like new.

Even if you do not put an SSD, you can probably get things significantly better if you do a clean install.

Make a full clone (using SuperDuper! or CCC), erase the internal drive and install a clean OS; then migrate from the clone, but only the user accounts; install any applications fresh.
