Corrupt email files with attachments
From one specific person I continually get these weird, corrupt email files any time he sends me an attachment. Anyone have any idea why this would be happening? It's mac to mac.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand from your post, that each time you receive an email with an attachment, from another Mac user you get an corrupt email attachments. I am happy to help.
It sounds like this issue is something your friend needs to troubleshoot. Please have them send you an attachment from another device or if their mail can be accessed via a browser, to send it to you through the email service provider's site.
