Do I still need Silverlight on my MacBook to watch Netflix?

I'm cleaning out stuff I don't need anymore to get more space on my Macbook Pro, and I was wondering if anyone knows if I can delete the Silverlight software?

I'm currently running OS Sierra 10.12.6

Thanks!

Here's my secret to answering 50% of the questions here. Do this: https://www.google.com/search?q=netflix+mac

Keep reading the subsections and you will find one discussing how most modern browsers support HTML5 and don't need Silverlight. Unless you are running a computer that hasn't been updated in 6 years then you probably don't need Silverlight.
