OS Mojave does not allow scanning from HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP 277c6.
How do I fix this? I am using an iMac.

The operating system isn't going to provide drivers for your device, you need to visit the HP site, and determine if there is actually drivers available for your specific HP Color LaserJet. There is a Sept 24, 2018 Easy Start application for Mojave at that link that will assist you with driver installation for this device. You may have to follow the steps in Reset the Print System to get the device working.
