My iPhone 8 automatically answers after one and a half rings The answers that I found do not apply to my iPhone 8, they are for apparently for the newer version, because I only get as far as accessibility, where there are no “touch” or “call audio routing”, or “auto answer calls” listed. I also checked to make sure do not disturb is off.

How do I turn off auto answer Other people would like to know how to turn off auto answer but as of 11th October there appears to be no answers.

Launch the Settings app from the Home screen of your iPhone.
Tap on General.
Scroll down towards the bottom and tap on Accessibility.
Now tap on Call Audio Routing
Here you have the option to toggle between Default, Headset, and Speaker.
Put Auto Answer Call Off
