Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
The answers that I found do not apply to my iPhone 8, they are for apparently for the newer version, because I only get as far as accessibility, where there are no “touch” or “call audio routing”, or “auto answer calls” listed. I also checked to make sure do not disturb is off.
Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Call Audio Routing > Auto Answer Call [Off]

It’s already set on off, but it continues to automatic answer. Is there another way to turn this off?
It already is off, I’m thinking I should turn it on and set a time before answering
My iPhone 8 automatically answers after one and a half rings
