Missing cross training on Apple Watch ? After restart setup

My Apple Watch kept turning off (even with over 80% battery life left) and one of the options given by apple was to re-pair it to phone as a “new” watch... I have done that however I now dont have the options for fitness that I used to have on my previous watch ?? I used to have cross training etc however now that I have re-paired it as a new watch it no longer has that option ???? This would be a VERY popular workout function - how can I get it back ?? I know a few people who have the Apple 4 version and it is also missing ?? Can this be fixed ??? Thx

Hi janene8615,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities with your question today. It sounds like you are looking for a cross-training workout on your Apple Watch. I understand how important it is to be able to track your workouts.

You can see all available workouts on this page: About workout types. What you are looking for may be similar to High intensity interval training (HIIT). You can also choose Other. "At the end of an Other workout, you can choose a name for your workout from a list of options. This can help categorize different types of activity, like dance, strength training, or cross training."

You may even be able to find a third-party app on the App Store that can track cross-training.

Enjoy your workouts!
