Movie wont sync to ipod

I'm stumped. I have a 160GB iPod Classic that wont download/sync 1 movie( out of 30) to my iPod. I have confirmed the movie is in SD and that it is downloaded to my computer. Both iTunes and the device have updated software. I have tried to "manually manage" my library and have both Sync movies by checking only desired movies, and have let iTunes download my entire library. It continues to omit that one movie even though it knows its there( I can see the movie count, and the data storage change when unclicking/clicking)... I've played the movie so its there...help please...

Compare the details of the video in question with the iPod classic 160GB (Late 2009) - Technical Specifications. Some SD store videos may potentially exceed maximum data rates for the classic.

Try File > Convert > Create iPod or iPhone version.

The movie in question has a data rate of 1526KBPS. The iPod can handle 1.5 Mbps. This make me angry. I have movies that are newer than the 1991 movie in question that have a lower rate. Is there a way to decrease the data rate?

Thank for the tip. I've found the "convert" path, but how do I chose the title to convert? The convert choices aren't highlighted, it seems that it wants an open file.
