Time Machine: Delete Selected Backups?
My hard disk is full and I can see old backups that were in close proximity (less than a week or so apart). Can I free up space by deleting specific backups?

Normally, it is best to let Time Machine delete the older backups. If you manually delete them, you risk corrupting the entire backup. Moving the backup to a larger hard drive using the links above is a much better option.
