My iMac keeps restarting several times a day since last Mojave upgrade

iMac (21.5 in, late 2013)

Mojave 10.14.2

Processor - 2.7GHz Intel Core i5

8GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Upgraded last week and every time I come back to it, there has been a restart. Thinking of trying to re-install. Thoughts?

Thanks

According to the report, your system drive may be failing.

A good backup is a great idea.

I suggest that, in addition to a Time Machine backup, you make a full bootable clone to an external drive.

Replacing the internal drive in an iMac is a highly nontrivial operation, but if you can get an SSD in an external USB3 case you can actually get much better performance that your existing drive could ever provide.

You will be surprised at how much better a mac performs with a speedy SSD, compared to a paltry 5400rpm hard drive.
