Static on receiving end

When I make phone call, the person on the receiving end of my call cannot hear me due to this crackling static noise. I have an IPhone 7 plus. The phone has not been damaged and has been chilling in a drawer for about a year. There is no damage to it. I've tried network reset and a complete wipe on my phone. Both to no avail. Sometimes speaker phone will fix the issue or using my IWatch for phone calls, but I'd prefer my actual phone to work.

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, Mjjones94!

I understand that when you're on a phone call with someone on your iPhone 7 Plus, the person is unable to hear you due to static. I'd be happy to provide information to help you out.

I have tried all of the steps including cleaning the phone, resetting the phone, doing recordings using the front and back camera, voice memo, and Siri. All videos come out fine, the voice recording and siri come out fine as well. The static only happens during phone calls on the recieving end. I’ll just have to set up an appointment with apple to get it looked at. Thank you so much.
