how to use the money that i added to my account
I added money to my account using a gift card, but every time i try to make a purchase, i end up paying from my card, and the added money from the gift card stay intact

Have you only 'tried' to make a purchase, or have you actually bought something ? How items are paid-for is automatic, and your purchases should use the account's balance.
