That phone will always make a shutter sound and there is no way to prohibit it. iPhones shipped from the factory, intended for sale in Japan and Korea are required, by Japanese and Korean law, to be configured so they always make the shutter sound when using the camera on the device. There is no way to disable that on a phone originally sold at retail in Japan or Korea.

Where you live or where you’re using the device has nothing to do with the fact that those devices are configured that way at the factory, as required by law in the countries the factory originally shipped them to.

You bought a used phone originally intended for retail sale in Korea, so no, you can not disable the shutter sound.

P.S. Apple iphones are manufactured in China and some models at times in Taiwan, so there is no such thing as a retail new (I.e. never sold at retail) iPhone “imported” from Korea. Again, it does not matter at all where you bought the device, from whom, where you live or where you use the device. All that matters is did the device leave the Foxconn factory after manufacturing in China intended for an Apple store or Apple Authorized seller in Japan or Korea. If that is how that device originated from the factory, then it will always and forever make the shutter sound when you use the camera.

No, I don’t work for Apple, so cannot check anything for you.

And you may have bought an unopened packaged device but if you bought a Korean market iphone in Pakistan, it was used. That’s the only way an iPhone originally shipped for retail sale in Korea would end up in Pakistan.

Sellers who who are not Apple Authorized sellers have no access to Apple retail new (straight from the factory) devices. Everything they sell is inherently a used device, even if the package was never opened or the device never set up and used.
