Hello! I recently purchased Dell P2418D and I can't run it at full resolution (2560×1440) on my Macbook Pro 13" early 2015. Screen is just black. But it does work if I scale it down to 2048x1080. Is my Macbook too old to run 2K resolution? I have it connected through built-in HDMI port.

Support for 1080p resolution at up to 60Hz
Support for 3840-by-2160 resolution at 30Hz
Support for 4096-by-2160 resolution at 24Hz
Since you're finding that it works when set to 2048x1080 resolution, it does sound like the Mac is working as expected with the display, but doesn't support the higher resolution at this frame rate.

Thanks for the answer but the problem was in the HDMI cable. I guess its version was too old. I've borrowed one from my friend and it works fine now. I think his version of HDMI cable 1.4b and it does support 1440p60.
