Adapter/converter for bus powered TB3 device to TB2 port?

I recently purchased an audio interface (UA Arrow-I’ll provide the link below) that’s entirely bus powered via a Thunderbolt 3 connection. I have a MacBook Air with a Thunderbolt 2 port... I was originally told that I could power it with a TB2 cable and a TB2 to TB3 adapter. I bought both from Apple, and it doesn’t work... After digging I found that Universal Audio’s website states that,

“Thunderbolt 1 or 2 ports cannot power Arrow. This can be worked around by using a Thunderbolt 3 dock (with an external power supply) to power Arrow, and a Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt adapter to connect the dock to a Thunderbolt 1 or 2 port on the computer.”

I can find tons on TB3 docks, but none of them are AC powered, and I can’t find any that explicitly state they can/cannot provide bus power. Does anybody have any idea what converter I’m looking for? Obviously I’m not wanting to spend another $400 on a docking station, but I know the market for that is slim and I’m sure there aren’t a ton of options. Thanks in advance!

All the OWC multi-port docks come with a 150 watt power brick. Apple sells the USB-C/TB3 to TB2 adapter. OWC has recently merged with Akitio who sells a TB3 to TB2 adapter.

Other multi-port docks are made by CalDigit and ElGato that all come with exterior power brick. You can also purchase AC chargers that work with USB-C/TB3 Macs and replace the much lower power charger provided by Apple. Many to choose from if you do your research.
