How to claim AMD rewards with RX 580 Gaming box using a MacBook Pro/Air

Hello all, this is a quick post to help anybody who has the same problem as I had, getting the following error whenever you attempted to claim your AMD rewards that are included with a RX 580 Gaming box via a Mac. This occurs even when you have your eGPU connected.

However, I have found a solution.

Step 1: Connect your RX 580 Gaming box to your Mac. Make sure if is connected not only to your Mac but also to a power source, and check if it is recognized by the system by looking for the icon in the tool bar at the top.

Step 2: Tell Safari to use the eGPU. Open the Applications folder and find Safari. Right click Safari and then press "Get info". Then check the box that reads "Prefer External GPU". Quit safari if it was open.

Step 3: Enable the Develop Menu in Safari. Launch Safari, then press "⌘,". Click on the advanced tab and tick the box that says "Show Develop menu in menu bar".

Step 4: Enable WebGPU and WebGL 2.0. In the Menu Bar in Safari, click on "Develop", then "Experimental Features", and tick both "WebGL 2.0" and "WebGPU".

Step 5: Attempt to claim your rewards again! Make sure your RX 580 Gaming box is connected, and you are using Safari as your web browser. You should be good to go.
