iPhone XS MAX screen shadow

Hi guys, I would like to ask question. I am checking screen behaviour. I tested the screen and I saw one thing. When I turn on reduce white point (50 - 100 %), I can see on the right side of iPhone darker shadow. When I turn off reduce white point, everything is normal. Please, could you tell me, if is that normal? Thank you for your opinions.

There are photos. I took that with iPhone 7 plus.

(brighting 40%, reduce white point 90 %, colour temperature- 100% warm)

On the photo is dark grey wallpaper. I chose this wallper, because first time I saw that when I was reading article in few applications with dark mode. Mainly I am reading articles at the night and this time I am reducing display. So I tried to simulate similar conditions for better photo view. On iPhone 7 Plus I see this wallpaper also normally when I turn on ,,white reduce point” for 50 -100%.

The display technology in the iPhone XS Max is relatively new. So that is the reason, why I am asking, if is it normal for every Super Retina displays.

Thank you for your answer. Do you think, that is behavior of the Super Retina? I am only thinking, because I am not seeing this issue on my second iPhone 7 Plus, business iPhone SE, or girlfriends iPhone 7. I know that the photo doesn’t do it justice, but I am looking for the reason. I took the photo only for view. For example I can see that in Watch application also, there is darker wallpaper. New Super Retina display is amazing but maybe with issues.

I have the same phone. I can’t see how you manage to reproduce those photos. I also can’t see what you are trying to achieve. Gladly see some one esle shed some light on It. If you believe your phone screen is faulty please take back to the Apple Store for them to check it as you can see something I can’t and you have too look at it daily. I will now back out and will no longer reply. All the best. Ta
