I replaced my 4th generation AppleTV with the AppleTV 4K. Now, I cannot get audio on Netflix, HBOGO or Showtime but I can receive audio on other apps. Everything worked normally before the change and the troublesome apps work fine on my other devices. Any ideas?

The audio setting was "Automatic." I changed it to 5.1 Dolby and got audio!

if your appletvs settings are set to surround without you having surround speakers connected then this happens when playing media which support surround sound, and it works normally when playing normal stereo material, changing from surround to stereo in the settings of the appletv resolve the issue
