Sharing a .epub file from Books App

I created an ebook and exported it from InDesign as a (fixed layout) .epub file on my mac. I airdropped it to my iphone to see how it looked there and it was great. Everything checked out. I wanted to send it to my friend to check out so I hit the (...) button under the book and pressed share. I tried to share it as a text message first, but that resulted in my just sending her the title of the book. No link, file, or extension. Just text.

I tried to share it via Mail app. Same problem, it just wants to send the title of the book.

How can I share an .epub file from my Books app from my iphone ?
