MacBook pro won't update to Mojave

Does anyone have a macbook pro that will not upgrade to Mojave? Mine is fairly new and it won't, I've tried Apple support several times and they can't get it to install either..... is there a way out for this?

If Mojave shipped on your Mac brand new—you can not go backwards to 10.13.6

If it shipped with 10.13 then Mojave should be doable.

Try a Safe Boot and launch the installer from that environment.

I've tried a few times with apple support and it always get the same error message......

Can you make a bootable installer from that same download? From here you can also run the First Aid on your Macintosh HD from Disk Utility, before you launch the USB installer part.
