I know how to cancel a subcrption in iTunes but in order to sign up for Hulu TV Live I have to DELETE this account in iTunes and sign up for Hulu TV Live directly with Hulu. No one seems to know how to do this. SOS please.

You can remove the app from your iOS device, and you can hide the app, but you cannot delete the app from your Purchase History. Have you looked at any Hulu support sites to see if they have any recommendations for how to do this?

Well, it is their app that you cannot download because of restrictions they have imposed. Have you cancelled the subscription, and are you past the date when the current subscription runs out?

Yes, I'm fairly certain that the Hulu support people meant that when they said you had to "delete the account". Once the subscription lapses, that subscription (account) will essentially be "deleted" from the Hulu side.

I contacted Hulu first. They told me I had to go through ITunes since that’s where the account is housed. So I’m stuck.
Thanks GAIL. I cancelled the Hulu subscription which expires on 2/3/2019. I gather from your question that I have to wait until after that date to take the next step.
