Removing Windows from boot menu

I deleted internal drive and then restored from external drive / My Passport for Mac but I still can see windows in the boot menu. Is there a proper fix as I tried nearly all solutions but non of them worked.

There is a way, but real care needs to be taken that you don't

do something wrong (do a full restorable backup just in case).

You will also need to use terminal to do it.

If you use Bootcamp to remove the Windows install, this is done automatically.

Which is one reason that you simply do not delete a Windows install.
