Siri suggested websites

I type in the first 4 letters of a website I want to get to and a web site I’ve never visited or want to visit appears in “Siri suggested websites”.

I use private browsing and the site that appears is not in bookmarks.

How is can I get rid of it?

How to turn off safari address bar recommendations? Let me preface this by saying I love apple tech, but their safari recommendation engine is flaming garbage. For an example, I type ”fortnite” in the address bar expecting to google search fortnite, but safari pops in with their “top hit” fortniteconfig.com, and of course I press enter without noticing. I type “china” expecting to google search china and I get directed to chinasprout.com. I believe I’ve visited these sites at some point in the past. How do I delete Siri suggestions on the Safari home page? All of SIRI is off on my Mac. Shut off on everywhere. Why is a Siri Suggestion appearing on my Safari home page and how do I delete it permanently? Thank you for any suggestions. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Requesting a click by click walkthrough fix: How can I disable autocompletion logic and disable Siri suggested websites in Safari on MacBook Pro?? (Screenshot below) I want to disable the logic that is causing the text in this field box of Safari to autocomplete on my MacBook Pro. I also want to disable Siri suggested websites. I have safari version 14.1 on my MacBook Pro. I'm not sure if its important but I also have an iPhone 7. I am not experiencing any problems with safari searches on the iPhone. I am only asking to resolve the issue on the MacBook Pro. Example of an undesired result: When I type in the characters "myhr." the system automatically populated the information shown and displays the Siri Suggested Websites. In a perfect world I would want absolutely no suggested websites and no autocompletion in this Safari field box.
