Every morning my alarm goes off and the greeting displays the temperature outside. For New York or some strange location.
I go to Weather, remove those cities, add mine, and then it happens again within the next few days. What's the fix?
I can't find anything on this topic that's recent.

Try going to settings>general>reset>and reset location and privacy to see if that helps.
You can try turning on your location settings for the weather app and keep only that for the only location you get weather from. This might help keep the weather specific to your city. You can do this by going to settings>privacy>location services>weather and select always.
I reset Location and Privacy, after backing my iphone up. It did not solve the problem. On top of that, when I restored my iphone, thinking it would be just like it was before the reset, I had a host of other issues, mostly having to do with entering new settings which had previously been there. Do not use reset, unless it is a last resort.
