I had same issue, I switched 5 GHz wifi network and it is working smoothly now. Give it a try.

I have the Magic Mouse 1 and I have never had my Magic Mouse 1 disconnect when it is in use on my Apple desktop MacPro computer. My Apple desktop MacPro computer will let me know how much charge is left in my AA batteries on my magic mouse 1 and I have a bar code and when the bar code goes to zero then my computer will let me know to replace my AA batteries.
