Ethernet set up
Hi, I have recently bought Cadyce CA-U2E(USB to Ethernet adapter) to get my Macbook air connected to Ethernet. Can someone tell me all the steps that I should follow to get it connected?

It looks like Apples adapter. You should just have to connect it to your MacBook Air and connect an Ethernet cable between the Adapter and your Network Switch. Open Network Preferences in Systems Preferences and select the "+" in the left column and you should be able to create a new service for the adapter.

Hi Gregzw,
Thanks for your reply.
the adapter is not of apple. It is of CADYCE. When I plug it in I do not get ethernet option.
What did the manufacturer say when you contacted them? I have Apple's USB > Ethernet adapter and it works fine.
Did you install the driver for the CA-U2E?
If they are installed you should see it when you select the "+" in Network Preferences.
