What saves battery better push or fetch?

Trying to figure out what can save battery better by setting to either fetch or push notifications. Looked it and one resource says push drains your battery then another resource says fetch drains it. So what’s the better option? Also can they be explained better for me. Will my notifications come in on time with either one ?

This is what I found by searching:

Fetch is typically set on a timed basis, while Push happens in real time. Fetch will use up your battery faster, as it requires your device to check the email server, while Push only needs to let the email server know where to send the notifications. If battery power is an issue, try to enable Push on your iOS device, if available.
