Email

I received an email stating that my Apple ID is temporarily disabled and will be permanently disabled in 1 week. How can I verify whether this has been sent by Apple Support or whether it is a scam?

Apple will never send you an email which notifies you that your Apple ID is disabled, or will be permanently disabled.


  1. Identify legitimate emails from the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support
  2. Avoid phishing emails, fake 'virus' alerts, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support
